## Requirements
- Have same eletrical interface as FST08e.
- Be cool (below max temperature at the end of endurance).
- Follow a lot of electrical rules rules.
- Have the following parameters given by VD:
- __Max Power__ at discharge and at charge.
- __Continuous Power__ at discharge and at charge.
- __Energy__ for a given load.
- __Weight?__
- Fit in the chassi and be securelly attached to the chassi.

## Problems with older version
### Eletronics
- The energy meter on the HV monitor has some problems
- There is an high voltage cable on the middle on the LV cables.
### Cooling
- [DCDC](dcdc) aquece a lot and heat the stack behind them.
- [HV monitor](hv_monitor) heats a lot too. Indicator uses too much current.
- The spacing of the cells is not correct.
- Overall the air is not flowing where it should.
### Mechanical
- Final connection shakes. Maintenance plugs fuck cell pads.
- Maintenance plugs have no keying (wrong configurations).
- Bolts are metallic, floating and very imperial.
- Current sensor and fuse attachement are a bit bad.
- Battery is a little bit soft, may need some reinforcement.

- Load cases of all mechanical parts.
- Requirements for all PCB.
- Cell choice.
- Thermal simulation. Real thermal data.
- Battery "efficiency" or some data about the real capacity of the battery.
- Design process of every part on the battery.
## Battery situation
### FST07e Battery
#### Usefulness
Usefull to be used with the motor testbench.
Due to the testbench being in the Electrical Machines Laboratory it would be a much easier logistics if the battery could be only used in the testbench, not in the car. Also having this battery only for the testbench allows the testbench to be operated when the car is being tested.
In the beggining of the year this battery serves as test for the new battery eletronics and experience for new members.
## Option - Doing a new a battery equal to FST08e very fast.
- Adapt FST07e container.
- Put the new PCBs that came for FST08e on FST07e battery.
- Use the FST07e battery exclusively for the testbench and is always in the Electrical Machines Laboratory.
- Correct serious/scruteneering problems in FST08e battery.
- Do another battery equal to the corrected FST08e battery.
- Start research and development in batteries.
### Advantages
- Have two batteries for FST09e plus a battery for the testbench (which can still be used in the car) - very testing time. Have a spare accumulator on the competition.
- One battery can be more spared for the competition so we have full capacity for endurance and we are sure the possibly bad state of health of the FST08e's battery does not compromise the battery to competitions.
- Enexperient members gain experience building a battery so they can have a better opinion for future reasearch.
